A Collaboration With YTHART Museum
Following the showcase this August in London, we bring this powerful programme to Shanghai, in collaboration with YTHART Museum, the first public art institution explicitly established with a focus on women's concerns as its core mission in china.
This programme unfolds through moving images by five women artists, opening a deeply immersive world shaped by myth, body, and ritual. The images grow in darkness and reshape themselves in light, they are both objects of viewing and pathways inward. Women’s moving image becomes a spiritual language, guiding viewers through fragments and symbols toward moments where emotion can loosen, be seen, and regenerate.

• Post-screening Talk moderated by Curator Li Xinxin, in conversation with artist Zaozao Zhang; guest speaker Lei Ni (art critic and former editor); and Ni Jingyan (curator of YTHArt Museum)
