Which Witch Exhibition
They Call Me Witch - Which’s Ladder Workshop

2025.11.14,16:30-18:30
The Crypt Gallery, Under St Pancras New Church, Duke's Road, Off Euston Road, WC1H 9AD

The Witch’s Ladder, an ancient practice in Wiccan witchcraft, uses knots and embedded objects (like crystals and feathers) to manifest intention. Each knot symbolizes a prayer or energy point, forming a “ladder” to spiritual goals. Its essence lies in transforming faith into a tangible talisman—weaving focus with natural elements to echo inner wishes.

In this workshop, we first cleanse materials with sage smoke; then explore healing crystals: amethyst for calmness, obsidian for protection, rose quartz for love. You’ll select a crystal aligned with your journey, and while chanting melodies, learn braiding and knotting techniques to create a unique energy necklace—a sacred companion for daily life.

Leading Artists:
Kefan Wang
is a ritual-based performance artist, Neo-Shamanic medium, and Wiccan practitioner. Her practice and creative work are rooted in nature worship, guided by the core principles of Mahayana Pure Land Buddhism. She integrates the trance art/spiritual journeys of shamanism with the witchcraft of Wicca, reconstructing the dialogue between the body, nature, and surreal forces through a contemporary artistic lens.

In 2022, she launched the ongoing project "Land of Bliss," a spiritual community that has since grown to 487 members both online and offline. From an ecological anthropology perspective, she reconstructs local knowledge and transforms the natural landscapes around London into healing spaces through spiritual practices such as workshops, retreats, forest bathing, and wild camping. This addresses the structural gap in New Age Spirituality regarding personalized rituals and sacred tools, fostering an active "land-to-community" transformation.

Additionally, through community co-creation workshops and esoteric education, she empowers participants to shift from passive observers to active practitioners, cultivating "eco-spiritual citizenship." This approach fills the ritual void often found in non-institutional religions and revitalizes the contemporary relevance of nature worship through an animistic philosophy.
